The Wolfe Island Gravel Grinder is a scenic and spirited mass-start gravel ride designed for cyclists of all levels. Hosted on the beautiful roads of Wolfe Island, this non-competitive sportif features two route options—40 km and 70 km—winding through waterfront vistas, open farmland, and historic island roads. This is not a race, but a celebration of gravel riding, personal challenge, and community connection, with a refreshment station at the half-way point. Join fellow enthusiasts for an unforgettable day on the bike, followed by a post-ride buffet and camaraderie at the Hotel Wolfe Island.

How tickets work:

Choose one:

$25 (+ HST) Registration for OCA or LCC members.

$35 (+ HST) Registration and OCA single event license (ie. the waiver form).

Then ADD lunch (or don’t, if you can’t stay to feast afterwards!)

WAIVER FORMS

Please note that if you are not an LCC or OCA member you will need to complete an insurance waiver before you participate in the event. We will have hard copies at the Hotel that morning, but it is much preferable that you fill out this waiver in advance and bring a hard copy with you, or email it to David at dm23@queensu.ca

FERRY INFORMATION

To get to the event and register on time you will need to take the 7am or 8:20am ferry from Kingston (we will have coffee and baked goods at the Hotel upon your arrival!). If there are any delays in the ferry schedule we will delay the start of the ride accordingly. The full ferry schedule, as well as return times, can be found here. The ferry terminal on Wolfe Island is in Marysville and is only a 1-minute walk to the Hotel. We strongly recommend that you leave your car in Kingston to avoid the line-ups.
