Open Mike Night

Open Mike Night is an open mic hosted by Mike Rapkins, a local musician from the Ottawa/Smiths Falls area who has been residing in the village of Marysville for the last year. Michael wishes to bring the community of the island together for a night of pure enjoyment and playfulness to combat those hump day blues. Using his goofy impromptu jam-band personality to  welcome all who wants to get up on stage and show what they got!

Encouraging musicians, poets, actors/actress, story tellers, comedians and just about anything you can think of. Maybe you’re new to live performance and wish to face fears of playing live, or maybe you’re an experienced vet whose looking to experiment, whatever it is you want to express come on down to Open Mike Night!
