Winter Bird Watching Weekend

Wolfe Island is a renowned location for bird watching, with over 200 species of birds living or stopping along during their migrations, and an avid community of bird watching enthusiasts! Winter is a special time for birding here, with the Snowy Owl (photo above by Sus Bowers) being the star of the show.

The Hotel Wolfe Island would like to invite you to join us for a relaxing winter weekend enjoying nature, good company, and great food!

Tickets include two dinners served in our Piano Room as a private group, two continental breakfasts, one lunch, guest speaker on Ethical Bird Watching, and two guided bird watching tours of 2 hours each, led by Marjorie Bousfield (a biologist, gardening expert, and local writer living here in Marysville).

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodations are available at a 10% discounted rate, ranging from $149 – $189, and are booked independently by phone or email. If you buy tickets through this page, we will follow up with you to book your room(s).

We have a King size suite with sitting areas, Queen size rooms, and 1 double bed room option. We also have a 3 bedroom apartment and a 2 bedroom apartment, both with a shared living and kitchen area.

Saturday

7:30 am – 8:30 am Continental breakfast
8:30 am – 10:30 am Guided bird watching
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm Lunch (soup and sandwich)
1:30 pm – 3:30 pm Guided bird watching
5:30 pm Dinner in the Piano Room (see Saturday Dinner Menu)
7:00 pm Screening/slide show of photos from the day from those guests that wish to share their photos

9:00 am – 10:00 am Continental breakfast
