The Mill Rights with Jon McLurg
The Mill Rights recently finished recording their debut self titled album, set for release this summer on Wolfe Island Records. The album features 13 original songs crafted from the foundations of rock, reggae, country, folk, and blues. True to their roots, the songs ebb and flow through tales of mystery and magic, to fiery righteous rock anthems, and heartfelt narrations of the human experience.

Jon McLurg spins songs of truth, reflection, melancholy, contentment, and spirituality. Influenced by the music of Mississippi John Hurt, Hank Williams, Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, John Prine, Leonard Cohen, and Bob Dylan, Jon has entered into the realm of the songwriter with class, abundant talent, and wit, and his soft but smooth voice and elegant finger-style guitar playing are the perfect vehicle for his songs. https://www.kingstonlive.ca/listing/jon-mclurg/
