The Island Talks: Palliative Care

A medical team delivering palliative care on Wolfe Island discusses how our community can support this critical service. Dr. Natalie Kondor is the Ontario Health East Palliative Clinical Care Co-Lead and Margaret O’Neill is a hospice palliative care nurse practitioner with Home and Community Support Services South East.

The Island Talks speaker series launched in the Summer of 2022 with six local author readings, had amazing turnouts on the Hotel patio, and great conversations followed. To keep the magic of community conversation going, we’ve been hosting Talks throughout the Winter and Spring to explore the future of our island. We’ll be announcing our Summer schedule soon.
