The Get Alongs

The Get Alongs return to Hotel Wolfe Island for a special show during a very special weekend. This is the weekend the island hosts its annual hockey tournament (happening earlier during the day)! The Get Alongs have graced our stage a couple of times before, blowing us all away with their garage rock and perfect hair, but this is their first trip for a winter show. They have their own connection to the island’s hockey tournament and are excited to play for us this time of year. Hope you’ll join us for the fun! The Get Alongs are a Toronto-based band that have been a part of the live scene across Ontario and Montreal for the past three years. The four-man crew never fail to deliver; their live sets show you how to live purely in the moment. It’s something else if you’re able to attend one of their shows; watching the band play with bloody hands and rip their shirts off halfway through a set, you’ll understand what it means to enjoy music with pure abandon. Their music can’t be encapsulated into a single genre; from college rock, new wave, fusion, to country, The Get Alongs play to their own tune and are constantly experimenting.
