Potions (Toronto): Potions are a freak-folk quartet (Ben Rositsan, Steven Noronha, Josh Sparks, Aidan McConnell) that takes heavy inspiration from improvised music across genres (from electro-acoustic improvisation, to Jazz and its subsidiaries). Arrangements include 3 guitars, percussion and electronic percussion, although instrumentations change frequently. At the centre of the outfit is a deep gratitude to songwriting.
