LISA BOZIKOVIC
Lisa Bozikovic is a songwriter, social worker / therapist and community engaged artist based in Prince Edward County. LUKA KUPLOWSKY
Luka Kuplowsky & The Ryōkan Band craft a singular sound that traverses traditions of jazz, folk and blues. They will perform adaptations and responses to the poems of Ryōkan Taigu, Maria Rainer Rilke, Rūmī, Li Bai and others from their brand new LP “How Can I Possibly Sleep When There Is Music?”.

YOU CAN CAN
Not your typical Mariposa folk duo, the group is comprised of vocalist Felicity Williams (Bernice, Bahamas) and bricolage artist and synthesist Andrew Zukerman (Fleshtone Aura, Badge Epoch). Their music is a somnambulant conversation with nods towards traditional forms of folk and musique concrète. A convergence of rural acoustic idioms and urban avant-electronics. Country music for the discerning citizen of the 21st Century.

PETER ZUMMO QUARTET (NYC/TORONTO)
Peter Zummo (trombone, synthesizer, voice), Josh Cole (bass), Michael Davidson (vibraphone) and Blake Howard (percussion).
An exponent of the American contemporary-classical tradition, trombonist Peter Zummo pursues the evolving boundary of music making and brass culture. Over several decades as a composer and performer in NYC with the likes of Arthur Russell, Lounge Lizards, Pauline Oliveros and countless others, his music evokes the influences and methodologies of minimalist, rock, jazz, and world music styles. Returning to Wolfe Island after an unforgettable 2023 performance, his Toronto-based quartet will play a set of new and unheard music entitled “Different Birds”.
