Pat’s music is influenced by western swing, jump blues, rockabilly and roadhouse soul, the music is all original yet fits easily into the hearts of those who love traditional roots and folk sensibilities. His compelling voice and lyrics add the colour to his songs; mixed with a little spice of a carnival-barker, and the audience is hooked, and happy.

Pat Temple is a seasoned Canadian singer songwriter now working on his ninth album. In the early 90’s Toronto music renaissance, Pat was signed to BMG for two releases, Stone Boat and Connecting Lines. The song Salamander Bones, was a CBC main stay receiving high rotation in 1991. The Video for the song , Playing Havoc With My Heart, received high rotation on CMT TV. This led to extensive touring which continues to this day.

As well as appearing at basically every major folk and roots festival in this country, Pat has been a feature act at venues – such as Massey Hall, The National Art Gallery, Canadian National Exhibition, and received positive reviews and interviews from CBC Radio, The Toronto Star, The Ottawa Citizen, The Winnipeg Free Press, The Vancouver Sun among others. He has appeared live on Much Music television, and CBC radio.
