Metsaema (previously known as The Salty Lemon Stringband) return to the island with friend Benj Rowland of Peterborough.

Metsaema is just about as diverse as you get when it comes to musical energy and repertoire. From Eastern European dance music and French Mazurkas to early turn of the century American Ragtime and New Orleans jazz, Metsaema will keep you dancing the night through!

Benj Rowland, born and raised in the Peterborough, ON area, is the singer-songwriter and instrumentalist behind the well loved Canadian folk duo Mayhemingways.

Recorded and produced by Joel Plaskett at his Dartmouth Studio, his latest album features a collection of songs that speak to small town Ontario and tell stories about the life of an independent Canadian musician.
