Meet the Candidates (for Municipal Election)
Join us as we meet the candidates for Mayor and Councillors for Frontenac-Islands. Candidates will introduce themselves, share their experience, and answer pre-submitted questions.
FORMAT: Moderated 90min Question and Answer
MODERATOR: Alix Carr-Harris
- Each Candidate will have 3 minutes to introduce themselves, share their experience and why they believe they are the best candidate for their respective roles.
- Candidates will be seated and asked questions alphabetically.
- Each Candidate will have 1 minute to answer their question.
- Candidates will be asked if they would like to add a new perspective/consideration to an answered question by another candidate — they will have 30 seconds to add their lens.
THE EVENT IS NOT A DEBATE.
The intention of this event is to provide a safe format for Candidates to share their lens and experience with the Wolfe Island community.
QUESTIONS WILL NOT BE TAKEN FROM THE ROOM during the event in an effort to stay on schedule and on topic. Given the number of candidates at the table, we want to ensure we hear from all of them equally.

- Community questions will be documented and organized by theme.
- Questions will be curated from collected questions and sent to each candidate to prepare in advance along with all documented questions from the community to reference.
- Please encourage folks to submit their questions and to reach out to help those who may not use email.
