Jeff Meleras and The Bokonons

Jeff Meleras and The Bokonons are an Ottawa-based Americana style band formed in the summer of 2021. The band is comprised of songwriter/guitarist Jeff Meleras, producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist Dave Draves, the legendary punk, folk and rock veteran multi instrumentalist Chris Page, he himself one of the finest songwriters around, and Piet Masone, whose magical harmonies and vocal gymnastics are like no other. They will be joined on bass by Michael Zikovitz.

Together they have released 2 albums, including their second release, The Friday Night Sessions, which popped in January of this year. Two more albums are almost finished and will be released in October.

The Bokonons sing about human folly, alien visitation, societal division, loss and longing, and the pending apocalypse with just a small smattering of tentative hope sprinkled in as the title of their debut Album Pot of Gold would suggest.
