Jean Baptiste Cardineau was raised in the French Alps and in the Wild West of the USA (Austin,Texas), playing guitar until moving to Montreal, Quebec where he picked up his grandmother’s 200 year old mandolin in 2017. After spending several years as a pillar of the Montreal roots scene, he moved to Boston in 2022 and now attends Berklee College of Music and is on a mission to reclaim the poly cultural quintessence of roots music and unleash the heavy grass picking artillery.

Sophie Wellington is a Boston-based musician who draws inspiration from old time fiddle music, percussive dance, and jazz improvisation. These influences, along with her unique upbringing and training, lend to her unique sound and spontaneous approach to music.
