Beaver Sheppard / Poplar

Artist, chef, musician and entrepreneur Beaver Sheppard is a mainstay in Montreal’s creative community. Originally from Newfoundland, he fashions low-fi songs with his guitar and pieces of drum kit lying around his apartment. At this show he’ll be backed by local musicians L.A. Foster on keys/synths and Laura Kelly on drums.

Sheppard evolves through the wide-scale relationships he creates with everyone and everything in his immediate surroundings. Beaver’s live performances are epic, intimate, and sincere. He exists supremely in the ‘real’ world with the love of fine food, good company, and adventure.

Opening act POPLAR will get the party started. Featuring Kieran Labbe, Michael Broadhead and Liam Fenton, this genre bending indie band from Kingston Ontario is known for their songs feature intricately arranged lyrics and melodies.
