Angela Seo and Jamie Stewart (of Xiu Xiu)

A semi-improvised experimental acoustic and electronic set to end off Seo and Stewart’s four-day artist visit at Queen’s University. This is not a traditional Xiu Xiu set, but a bespoke experimental jazz performance composed and performed especially for this artist visit.

A shuttle bus is provided on the island side by the organizers of this event! It will leave from the island’s ferry dock to the hotel at 7:30pm (catch the 7pm boat from Kingston to make it on this shuttle) and head back to the ferry from the hotel for those hoping to catch the 10:30pm boat back to Kingston.

XIU XIU

Over the course of the last two decades, Xiu Xiu’s prolific output of critically acclaimed albums and collaborations has been consistent and dazzling. They’ve released many full-length albums that have been praised in outlets such as The New Yorker, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, The Guardian, NME and others, and have toured the globe relentlessly, performing at places like The Guggenheim, Primavera Festival, Benicassim Festival, Pitchfork Festival and others.
